Buenos Aires, Dec 9 (NA) – Economy Minister Luis Caputo announced today that tomorrow he will seek to raise US$1 billion at a 9% rate. The minister outlined the government's expectations during an event at the IEB Foundation, followed by the Argentine News Agency. The national government will issue a dollar-denominated bond tomorrow, and the proceeds will be used to partially cover a US$4.5 billion maturity due in January, in a new voluntary debt market operation after an eight-year hiatus. IP The bond will be named BONAR 2029 N, with a four-year term (until November 2029 during a new presidential term), a semi-annual coupon, a 6.5% rate, and principal payment at maturity.
